Our Barns, designed in a spacious yet private courtyard, have been sympathetically restored. The Barns are a versatile venue for weddings, both ceremonies and receptions. They are a place to entertain from private parties, special birthdays, and anniversaries to family gatherings. They are also a place to stay in luxurious self-catering accommodation and explore the many attractions in Essex, nearby Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire.
There are 5 large wedding venues just 10 minutes away so The Hare’s Field is also ideal as a wedding hub, a spacious place where the Wedding Party, friends and family can gather before and after their main Wedding Day. We call this your Wedding HQ.

The Main Barn has a wedding license and we have a list of carefully chosen wedding partners, so you can design your wedding just the way you want. The accommodation suites in the courtyard include 8 spacious double bedrooms, each with a contemporary design and ensuite shower room.
When the Main Barn is not being used for a wedding, it is a super space to gather and relax while on holiday at The Hare’s Field, with 2 lounges, free WiFi, TV, table tennis, an extensive kitchen and dining area.
