Congratulations on your recent engagement. If you are planning a bespoke intimate wedding for up to 60 guests, The Hare’s Field may be just what you are looking for, especially as it has a wedding barn and accommodation all set in one beautiful courtyard.
Located in the heart of the Essex countryside, on the edge of the peaceful village of Wethersfield, The Hare’s Field is a new and undiscovered high-quality wedding venue. The Wedding Barn can be arranged in different layouts to suit your wishes and we have a little white book of trusted partners and suppliers who can help design the wedding, just the way you want. The Barn is soundproofed, with air conditioning, underfloor heating, a fully equipped kitchen, lights, and sound system.
Celebrate & stay
After the ceremony, the happy couple and guests can spend time in the elegant courtyard or secluded seating area with wonderful views over the rolling countryside complete with a fire pit for those chilly evenings. These areas provide an attractive setting for film and photography. There are also 2 lounge areas and a bar for guests if the mood takes you indoors. The Wedding Barn will then be ready for the Wedding breakfast and evening celebrations.
Within the Courtyard, there are 8 contemporary designed spacious double bedrooms, all ensuite with underfloor heating. One of these bedrooms, can be prepared as a wedding suite. Dogs are welcome by arrangement, and there are plenty of walks across the fields from the door.
